The Broccoli Forest Monster

The Broccoli Forest Monster

Leo stared at the little green broccoli on his dinner plate.

"I don't want to eat tiny trees," he said, frowning.

Mama smiled and leaned in close with a secret idea.

"What if you weren't Leo," she whispered, "but a friendly giant?"

Leo's eyes lit up. "A giant? In the Broccoli Forest?"

"Exactly," Mama said. "And giants love munching mini trees for snacks."

Leo sat up tall, stretching his arms out like a giant.

"I am the Gentle Giant of the Broccoli Forest!" he announced.

He picked up one tiny broccoli tree with two giant fingers.

"Crunch, crunch, crunch!" Leo said, taking his very first bite.

"Mmm," he said, surprised. "This mini tree tastes pretty good."

He picked up another broccoli tree, holding it up high.

"The Gentle Giant stomps through the forest, hungry for more!"

Leo stomped his feet gently under the table, giggling.

He munched tree after tree, clearing the whole green forest.

"You're doing amazing, Giant Leo," Mama said, clapping softly.

Leo puffed out his chest proudly, chewing his last mini tree.

His plate was almost empty, just a few crumbs left.

"The forest is all cleared!" Leo announced, patting his tummy.

"You did such a great job, brave giant," Mama said proudly.

Leo smiled, feeling strong and happy from his forest snack.

"Tomorrow," he said, "the giant will clear the carrot patch too."

Mama laughed and kissed the top of his head gently.

Leo climbed down from his chair, tall and proud.

Being a gentle giant, he decided, was actually pretty fun.

And somewhere on his plate, not one mini tree remained.
